It’s all silly
This world
And its travails
The work-a-day world
The partying afterwards
The family life
The friendships
The sports weekends
We take all these things
So laughably seriously
But Allah-O-Akbar
The big fella
Directing all things
Below here
God only knows
To what mysterious purpose
I cannot help feeling
It’s all silly
Don’t agree?
Why would you
You who take all things
So goddamned seriously.
