To be is to be related
To family, friends and even strangers
We need each other, or at least seem to,
Physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually
God well knows who to bring together
To run this world of His smoothly
Some relationships are meant to be
And some do not last very long
Amidst all these meetings and partings
One has to pay attention
To one's innermost self
That obtains the same in all
Because what one is
Is not accessible to thought
And thus while one is a stranger
In every relationship howsoever close
One should not remain a stranger
To oneself.
