Oh, well, that's how it is then
That you had not wanted
To see the sunrises and sunsets
With me alongside you
I'm glad to have checked with you
Though in a roundabout way
But thanks for telling me
What was always in your heart
Which I misread quite understandably
But what matters it if we have
"A life together" or not
When one does not dread
The single life
Like most seem to
Blissfully unaware of the bliss
That only being single can bestow.
