Everyone is seeking love
Helplessly driven so
We feel there’ something
That is missing
And hope to find
Completion in someone else
Yet we find so many
Languishing all their lives
Despite their beloveds
It makes me despair
And I wonder
If I should search for love
On the outside
Or within my own being.
