The possibility of spiritual awakening or liberation is right now in this very moment, and not in a distant future as generally believed. Knowing yourself as the pure consciousness is liberation. Identified with the ego mind we believe ourselves to be in separation from the rest of the world. Awakening ends this separation, and there’s a realization that consciousness is all there is. Nothing can be seen outside consciousness. It is an impersonal realization where the knower and known dissolve in the bliss of “oneness.”
