Life has passed me by
While I pondered it
Hardly the company of few
Who shared my passions
Yet content to be alone
Knowing that God’s there
Bringing people together
When they need to be so
And drawing them apart
When they need to be so
Never easy anyway to show
Care and love for another
Beyond a certain point
As we remain siloed inside
Seeking our own happiness
In this uncertain world.
