I see the lake, vast in expanse,
The sun reflecting off its surface
The trees giving it a green hue
Visitors from all over India
Quite eager to take boat rides
Some strolling in the Tibetan Market
Dotted by eateries and retailers
It's cold, too cold for a Hyderabadi
Taking in this scene I wonder
What fascinates people about Nainital
As I am left pretty underwhelmed
Saved only by the company of friends
And now I am travelling back home
Wondering if I will ever travel at all.
