When we are not perfect why are we wanting others to be perfect.
Moreover, oftentimes the imperfections in others, that are either actual or so perceived by us incorrectly, irritate us most often when those very imperfections exist in us, and so by being reminded of them we face the uncomfortableness of having to “overcome” those imperfections in ourselves.
So, ultimately, when we can accept and love ourselves with all our imperfections, notwithstanding the fact that we may try to correct some of those imperfections in ourselves, will we know peace.
In the final analysis, paradoxically, the imperfections are what give us individuality since there cannot be two perfect things of the same kind. Whatever is perfect can only be unique to its species/kind.
