In this land of the living
Death keeps walking
Through the streets
Up the alleys
Walks into the heart
And the home
Not a place it leaves
Unvisited
But little do we know
That Death longs for life
Longs for love
But life and love it cannot have
Whatever it embraces and knows
Is no more
Much like the eternal dance
Of light and darkness
Does that make Death sad?
I’m not sure.
