I reject the Varnashrama Dharma.
According to me, there are only two ashrams.
- The Ashram of Action: Here you flow along with life and you will encounter joy and sorrow in the river of life.
- The Ashram of Contemplation: Here you sit on the banks of the river of life and watch it flow past and you study its currents. Here you will encounter only peace.
It is up to one to define and understand when to be in which of the above two Ashrams, for how long, etc.
No rules when it comes to living.
We need not and should not go by tradition and someone else’s views of how to live one’s life.
We are free to choose how to be.
We should have the courage to trust our own wisdom and inner guru.
