Without any Faustian bargain
I have sought and found knowledge
You could even say
I have sought and found wisdom
Yet no peace in mind
Some disatisfaction tugs at my heart.
Many, many people like me
I like many, many people
You could even say
Many people love me
And I love many people
Yet no peace in mind
Some disatisfaction tugs at my heart.
I know not what to do
I seem to have laid bare
All the thoghts and feelings
With nothing left to discover
Nothing left to look forward to.
The dreams themselves appeal not
It is almost as if the sun is always in the sky.
