Four Noble Truths of Samism

First Noble Truth — Dukkha (Suffering)

What do you mean you are suffering? Are you mad?

Second Noble Truth — Samudaya (The Cause)

The cause of this “delusion of suffering” is ignorance.

Third Noble Truth — Nirodha (The Cessation)

Ignorance is nothing but taking the body-mind to be oneself, and that ignorance can be ended.

Fourth Noble Truth — Magga (The Path)

Ignorance can be ended through the understanding of the following; believe me, you (caution, sales pitch ahead):

1. Understand intellectually that you are NOT the body-mind through one of the four prakriyas deployed in Advaita Vedanta — (1) Name-and-form analysis (karana-karya prakriya, clay-pot analysis), (2) Drik-Drsya Viveka (discrimination between the seer and seen), (3) Avasthatraya Prakriya (analysis of the three states [Gaudapada will say there are only 2 states; we will see why below), (4) Panchakosa Prakriya (analysis of the five sheaths. (Who Am I? – The Four Prakriyas (by Swami Sarvapriyananda –– https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrQVi2McAqJrYbCkqtKy54iAAhJjlgnM8)

2. The most effective prakriya, one which explains every aspect of the Truth/Reality/Advaita that I have seen is Name-and-Form Analysis (read my book on it, which is available on Amazon, titled “Advaita Vedanta through Name-and-Form Analysis”) — this will explain ALL aspects of Advaita, including why you as the ego cannot be the “doer” of any actions, why happiness is within (and so, Maya is nothing but thinking that happiness lies outside)

3. Understand why even the waking world is a dream — “The World is in Your Mind – Subjective Idealism” — https://selfrealization.blog/2025/10/10/the-world-is-in-your-mind-subjective-idealism/

4. Understand why you as body-mind, the world and God “appear” to exist BUT do not actually exist, and what exists is ONLY Consciousness (Brahman), that is, the Ajata Vada of Gaudapada that says that “There is no creation, no dissolution, no birth, none in bondage, none aspiring for wisdom, no seeker of liberation and none liberated. This is the absolute truth.” (Verse 32 of Chapter 2 (Vaitathya Prakarana) in the Mandukya Karika) — a bit like ONLY the Clay exists and not the pot, though the pot appears to exist. ([1] Creation of the Universe — https://selfrealization.blog/2018/10/08/creation-of-the-universe/ [2] NOTHING IS HAPPENING – NO CREATION, NO DESTRUCTION —  https://selfrealization.blog/2021/05/27/nothing-is-happening-no-creation-no-destruction/

5. The donkey is not tied to the tree; you are free to walk away. If you insist, no, the donkey is tied to the tree, then know that you are not the donkey (though sometimes I find it hard to believe that I am not a donkey). Because what is “bound” is the body-mind (the donkey), and you are not the body-mind; in fact, the body-mind is only an appearance, just a name-and-form of Consciousness, and thus does not actually exist (as you would have understood if you have been paying attention to the above points and reading up on the resources listed under them).

After understanding the above, you will “know” what else you need to do or not do to finally go beyond the “delusion of suffering” if suffering “seems” to persist despite understanding the above.
