What is the “I” that Says “I am not the doer”

“To say ‘I am not the doer’ is only partially true. The correct understanding is, ‘I am not there, only God is there’. Now, one can ask logically, ‘If that I is not there, then which I is saying that?’ Ah,…that is why Ramana Maharshi said, ‘The only language able to express the whole truth is silence’. Then, why do ‘I’ write you may ask? The ‘you’ that is asking that is not different from the ‘I’ that is writing is what has to be understood. Once that is understood, then the whole mystery stands revealed.”
