I said I was “obsessively logical”
She said that is what she misses being
I said that she has an intuitive awareness
And an ability to see the whole in a glance
Which I had a lot to learn from
And when I remember this what she wrote
About some happening in a movie
“To love someone for so long
Is to die many deaths together…
And live many lives together…”
I realize I have a lot more to learn from her
But I’m glad to have her as a friend
Who always underestimates herself
Despite the above kind of wisdom
And to my surprise she always is surprised
When I point out her admirable insights
Or her admirable qualities,
She turns around and asks, “Tell me
Your reasons for so thinking”.
