After seeing my posts about my mother’s and an astrologer’s opinions about my prospects for “liberation” in this life, a friend wrote: It’s all “relative” buddy
I replied:
Not “relative”, buddy.
“Imagination”, both the ignorance and the enlightenment or liberation.
Like a pot “imagining” it is a pot now and NOT ALREADY clay and that it WILL BECOME clay sometime in the future or REALIZE it is clay sometime in the future, because howsoever a pot thinks it is, whether ignorant or enlightened, it always was, is and will be clay and nothing but clay.
A name-and-form is nothing but the underlying substance which is appearing as that name-and-form.
