Of the Truth, by and large mostly,
We started having online dialogues
On spirituality and Advaita,
In the midst of which dialogues
“Lifelong Companions” we agreed to be
Meaning companions as Kalyana Mitras.
“I am here for you,” said she,
“I am here for you,” said I,
Whatever that entailed from us.
So the bond exists at some level
Nebulous though it might seem.
Where our paths lead in future
Is left to destiny, but I am fine
Whatever path she has to travel,
I’ll be watching from the sidelines;
And I am fine wherever I have to go
On whatever path destiny takes me
And I will be watching my own journey
From the sidelines, as a curious observer.
I am no longer sure
Where I end
And another begins.
