I am free, always was, always will be
My body is not free, cannot be free
My mind is not free, cannot be free
My heart is not free, cannot be free
Right in the midst of this bondage
I see that I am free, and this bondage
Of the body, of the mind, of the heart
Is of no concern of mine, I leave them
To the roles destiny has assigned to them
So simple, so laughably simple, so so simple
This freedom that was always mine
This freedom that will always be mine
Now I care not what songs this heart sings
I care not what ignorance may beset this mind
I care not if the body is paralyzed next second
I do not mean this in the way a Stoic means
I mean it in a different sense, and that sense
Some can understand, and some will not.
