Strictly speaking, I have hardly any problem or quarrel with myself or with anyone in this world or with the world itself (though I do have a problem with God that he unnecessarily keeps creating a world and keeps troubling us…like as if we are rats puts into this maze called the world and we have to figure our way out of it).
But, others seem to have some problem or the other or some quarrel or the other or some expectation or the other from me.
And, some, if not that many, family members, relatives and friends keep wanting to talk to me or meet me.
But, I am in no mood to talk to them because most of them, if not all, end up asking me inane things like “Have you had your dinner?” or want to talk about or share stuff on some sociopolitical issue or the other if not outright gossip about people.
Pretty soon, sometime within the next month or so, I will be starting One-On-One Online Paid Chat Sessions for those wanting to talk over any philosophical issues with me.
I am inclined to charge something like Rs. 2,000/hr.
So, now, some richer family members, relatives and friends might seize this opportunity to talk with me by signing up for the chat.
That will help both myself and them in the following ways:
- They can satisfy themselves of their “need” to talk to me
- I can get out of the guilt that I am denying them my ears
- Since the purpose of the online chat is purely a philosophical discussion, they cannot complain that I am unnecessarily talking about something they are not interested in
- Given the costly nature of such hourly online discussions with me, they will pretty soon give up on talking to me.
