Happiness and love we keep seeking
While we ourselves are that which we seek
Look at God’s Maya or is it our bewakoofi
We keep searching, searching, searching.
For happiness and love
Where it does not exist;
We spend lifetimes in such bewakoofi,
Confusing all the time
Pleasure with happiness and love
Name and fame with happiness and love;
If you want happiness and love
If you want to seek knowledge
If you want to develop your intellect
If you want to help the world
If you want to “break on through to the other side”
