I sit in silence here tonight
As the moon climbs up in the sky
Amidst all those heart-warming stars
Memories of mine clamour for attention
Seeking to take me on a ride
I do not entertain them
And let them rise up and die down
Not for me what has been
Or what might be
No, not even what Is
I sit in silence here tonight
Lost to time, lost to space
Enveloped by a peace
That only silence can bestow.
