I'll not be tricked again into being born
I've had enough of whatever life offers
No matter how much comfort money gives
No matter how much a woman can love me
No matter the kick one gets to be well-known
No matter how heady it's to wield power
No matter the delight it's to have children
No matter how lovely the stars and oceans
No matter the sublime bond a friendship is
No matter whatever else life promises to give
I care not to be born again, no, never again.
