Some people love Baba Ramdev
More than they love their spouse
After all when health goes for a toss
Of what use is love
So, they do not miss a session
Of kapalbhathi and anulom-vilom;
Once they know how to breathe perfectly
There will be time enough to learn
The art of loving
If they have not already
In their years of togetherness.
But, I am told love also is good
For health and all that
Let me tell you if you do not know
Single people are more prone to depression
And die earlier than married people
Now, now, I doubt if you can convince me
Marriage keeps the body alive longer
But would have killed the spirit long ago
What a well-kept secret that is
Else why do I keep getting
So many wedding invitations.
You say you are not talking about marriage but love
But however much you love
Time will kill you sooner or later
Do whatever,
Love or not
Marry or not
Eat millets or not
Visit Naples or not
Read Buddha or not
Have a home or be homeless
Work in an MNC or drive an auto
There is no release
Until you realize
With no doubt whatsoever
That that which drives the wind
Drives you.
