I wish I had the certainty of a lover
That his beloved is it.

I wish I had the certainty of a businessman
That money is it.

I wish I had the certainty of a drunkard
That alcohol is it.

I wish I had the certainty of a monk
That meditation is it.

I shudder and shiver in the wisdom
There is no certainty to be had.
