Slight temptation still persists in me for people and things, but as temptation goes it will never come to an end until we realize that all people and things are in us and we are in them – as the Bhagavad Gita (BG) says:
BG 6.29: “He who experiences the unity of life sees his own Self in all beings, and all beings in his own Self, and looks on everything with an impartial eye.”
BG 13.28: “Whoever sees the Supreme Lord present equally in all creatures, the Imperishable in the perishable, sees truly.”
That being the case, to rise to that level of vision that Bhagavad Gita is talking about in the above two verses, I want to concentrate on my spiritual sadhana.
Hence, I would like to be “less” in touch with this world.
To that end, my mobile will be switched off for the greater part of the day.
So, if you get an “out of network area” or “the mobile is switched off” message, do leave a WhatsApp message or an SMS if you do want to talk to me on some urgent or important matter (notice that I said, “urgent or important”), then I will get in touch with you.
People are of course welcome to drop by at my place whenever they wish to and I will recieve them with welcoming arms.
