I applied for a teaching position
At The Valley School, Bengaluru
A J. Krishnamurti school
Asking for an anything-goes position
Of a Philosopher-in-Residence
But now I am scared that there
Under J. Krishnamurti’s very nose
I will be talking about the Maharshi
Talking about the Upanishads
How we are NOT the doers, etc.,
But these those blokes might abhor
And boot me out pretty quickly
Before I can so much as question
Was JK correct about everything?
