I missed Enid Blyton.. all that childhood cartoons/ comic books.. one was not exposed at home, second, we were busy playing cricket only (never faulted Prem though he did introduce to Picasso)

What gave me the most pleasure and enjoyment in life till now is the reading of The Five Find-outers series of books by Enid Blyton — Fatty (Frederick Algernon Thornton) is my all-time favourite literary character…not to forget Inspector Goon…
My sister-in-law Dr. Karuna Reddy, who is now a retired psychiatrist in the US, (my cousin Dr. D. Surender Reddy’s wife, who himself is now 76 years old and retired as a pediatrician “at the stroke of the midnight hour” on Dec 31, 2024) is the one who took me to AA Husain, the bookstore in Abids, Hyderabad, where I bought for the first time those Enid Blyton books (memory fails me but I think she was the one who paid for those books), way back in 1977 when I was in 8th class.
