Making God Doubt Himself and Giving Him a Headache

For too long now I have been going around complaining, both in writing and to whosoever takes the risk in talking to me, that who the heck made me take birth without consulting my wishes.

That too made me take birth in this nonsense world with its nonsense people, where I am more of a nonsense and nuisance than anyone else.

As I have been going around thinking like Shakespeare that I am merely troubling deaf heaven with my bootless cries, one of those smart North Indians opined that God hears even the sound of anklets on ants’ feet, so I surmise that my words must have fallen on God’s ears.

Now, God must be pacing up and down, wondering:

“Who is this twerp who is going around questioning my wisdom in creating him? But, of course, I can snuff him out before you can so much as say, Sam. But darn, his life history intersects with so many others in so many tiny ways, and eliminating him now would mean I have to go back to the drawing board and rewrite so many people’s daily activities, especially how much time they spend on WhatsApp. Just when I am taking a mini-vacation thinking Modi and Meloni are handling it well by reining in Trump, now this headache. I tell ya, that Bong was right that these Indians are bloody argumentative. Well, what can I do, I will focus. That bard did know a thing or two when he wrote, ‘Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown’. Unfortunately, when you are God, there is no one else to pass the buck to. And what is my ROI in creating this world, especially these humans who do more thinking than is good for them? Next time I will perhaps let the evolution stop with the orangutans.”
