I let go
Without letting go
(For I may be
Treading on toes
Unwittingly)
To be there
If I am needed,
Without regard
To myself,
For the myself
Is fine with or without,
Though the “with”
Would be better,
But if I am needed
I do not mean
I want to be there
Only in the sense of “being with”
(Though ready, too, for the “being with”)
Just being there
For that “need” in the other
Whatever that “need” is
Whenever that “need” manifests.
