Here’s a poem I wrote (see photo below) about my med school classmate when he lost his father.
It is dated 9 August 1983. I was 19 years old.
It was the last poem I would write after having begun writing poetry at the age of 13, until I again picked up writing poetry when I reached US in 1989, at the age of 25.
That shows what a toll a med school can take on you, or indeed anything you do can (either study or work), if it is NOT something you love studying or doing.
Hence, always do Svadharma, no matter what the rewards or not.
