Why it is difficult to adjust with people and society after spiritual awakening? (What to do?) — by Jagjot Singh

After spiritual awakening, there is a shift in perception about life and the living. The most challenging aspect of awakening is dealing with people and their expectations who still strongly believe in society’s blueprint of a happy life. The search for alone time, silence, and peace of mind is misunderstood as depression, laziness, arrogance, and one being a social misfit.

When spiritual understanding happens, there’s usually little concern with society’s templates and blueprints that promise future happiness. One lives moment to moment free from the movement of time rooting in the reality of one’s Being. One lives for oneself and not for the appeasement of others.
