What the Morrows May Bring

The flux of life makes me uneasy

Makes me feel so out of control

I fear what the morrows may bring

I fear what past may catch up with me

I who want to reject life totally

I who want to cease existing forever

Feel inadequate in mind and heart

Where self-preservation of some sort

Seems embedded into my DNA

Yet I know not what this self is

To which I tend every day

Making sure it crumbles not

Maybe if there were no hunger pangs

I could have lain under a tree

And let the unfed body slowly decay

Yet, in addition to the body

I am saddled with a mind and heart

Which have a life of their own

Though for them, too, I care not

They have me circling round them

This body-mind-heart I can well see

What an illusion they are, and I see

They are an illusion from various angles

Yet the illusion seems to persist

Let us see what the morrows I fear

What those morrows may bring.

If you are to be very sincere with yourself today, what is the most difficult season you are in RIGHT NOW is it in your business where sales are low, is it in your career where growth is slow, is it in your relationship where there is confusion, or is it in your family where there is no peace? Just type one word.

If wisdom could speak to you loudly and clearly about your finances this very month, what do you sincerely think God is telling you to STOP doing, STOP buying, or STOP giving your money to, so that your financial life can finally breathe and grow?

In this tough economy where many people are complaining and giving up, what is that one uncommon wisdom principle, habit, or mindset that you are currently using to stay ahead, stay afloat and stay relevant while others are falling behind?

If God appears to you today like He appeared to Solomon and says “Ask me for only ONE kind of wisdom for your next level wisdom for business, wisdom for marriage, wisdom for career, or wisdom for family”, which one would you ask for and why is that the most urgent for you right now?
