After missing the call of my mother’s erstwhile bedside attendant (from almost 2017 till my mother breathed her last in this life in April 2021) Gayathri Erpa, I SMSed her as follows in Telugu:
Evari call thessukovadam ledu [not taking anyone’s calls], evarini kalavadmledu [not meeting anyone], endukante nenu poorthi samayam Meditation ku ketayinchuthunnanu [because I am catering my whole time to meditation]…I hope everything is alright…
Gayathri replied:
Everything is alright sir
Ela unnaru nti ani call chesanu [I called to find out how you were]
Chala rojulu aavuthundhi matladaka ani call chesanu sir. {I called because it is a long time since I spoke to you]
I hope everything is good.
I replied:
Everything good. Prapanchaanni marichipothekaani satyam teluvadu anay satyam artham ayyindi kabatti prapanchaanni marichipoyay pani lo unnanu. [Because I have understood the truth that unless you forget this world tyou will not understand the truth, I am enegaged in the task of trying to forget this world.]
