Some feelings exist at the depths
Having a life of their own, secure,
I myself feel surprised to see them
These feelings that I do not much feed
Yet they keep me tied to them, unmindfully,
It seems almost like some karmic bond
From a past now I have long forgotten
Now they seem almost like some prarabdha,
If it be the play of prarabdha then fine
I have no role in how they will play out
Yet I find myself drawn into the feelings
And I always keep regretting and regretting
How I might unnecessarily trouble others
If I keep being driven by these feelings
Whereby I make life troublesome for them
Towards whom these feelings get directed
And in trying to find a resolution to this
I see that the resolution as for anything
Is to be silent because without my wanting
The feelings will not have a life of their own
As for prarabdha, whether I want anything
Or not want, whether the feelings exist
Or them I do not fan up, what is destined
Will anyway happen without my choice
In so being silent, one finds desired peace
One also finds that which one has searched
All life, lovingly, passionately, doggedly.
