Yes, we should believe
In our own ability
But vulnerability also
Not to be scoffed at.
To be human
Is to be vulnerable
That’s how God wants it
How he wants us to be
Here in this world.
To realize and accept
One’s vulnerability
Is humility.
And humility
Is the truth
Of us humans.
In being true to ourselves
We draw closer
To whatever other Truth
That there be.
