The subtle (maybe not so subtle) message in this song is that the girl keeps saying no to everything he says he will give her and what he can offer her, until he says look at the love I have for you in my heart – not a very novel message, but it says it in a fun(ny) manner and of course in our dear Telangana Yasa.
This is perhaps a metaphor for all relationships, and not just romantic and marital relationships.
In no relationship should we ask: “What’s in it for me?”
Nor should we ask: “What can I give?”
Maybe ALL “healthy” relationships are nothing but basking in each other’s presence.
No?
