Love is what makes the world go around
So it is said; I do not differ
Yet I differ in a way
I love not man the less
I love God the more.
Some will look at me askance
“Is God not in us, as us?”
In us, yes; as us, yes!
But we pray to Him
And thereby create the distance
And in that distance
In that imaginary distance
Lies all the misery of this world.
