I feel like I have paid my dues to this world.
How so?
Firstly, I have fulfilled my duty towards myself by working and earning money to take care of myself by myself without becoming a burden on society.
Secondly, as far as my contribution towards society and this world is concerned, I have done it in the following ways:
1. I have made myself an honest man so that there is one rascal less in this world.
2. I have always shared with the world the knowledge, understanding and wisdom of myself and others (through my books – https://www.amazon.in/stores/D.-Samarender-Reddy/author/B0CB7PMW36 – and blog – https://selfrealization.blog/ – not to mention on Social Media – https://www.facebook.com/d.samarender.reddy.5):
(a) My sharing of philosophy in general and Advaita in particular – understanding this will set right the individual. Once the individual is set right, the society, the world and all the relationships in it will be set right, and also the religious and metaphysical quest is also addressed, so that one can ‘Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God.’
(b) But, not everyone can understand philosophy and Advaita. For such people, I have shared enough on psychology, sociology, political philosophy, economy, etc., so that they can improve themselves and rectify others if they occupy a position of power (either informal or formal).
Hence, I feel I can rest now.
I am not saying my contribution is anything significant or vital, but I have done what I could.
Rest is up to you and God.
Now, I do not have much desire and need to interact with this world, be it the world of family, friends, or relatives.
Shall I say, Hasta la vista, baby?
